Wow!
I guess it been a LONG time since I've done this, I had even forgotten my password!
Im currently reading the last book in the Twilight series, 'Breaking Dawn'. I haven't finished it yet so I can't say if the endings any good, but so far its my favorite! (Eclipse was REALLY good too though) So thats what I've been up to besides pre-band camp. I'm starting Marching band this year so I'm slightly excited about, somewhat nervous and a whole lot unskilled and new to this all lol.
So yeah, I didn't join the Ohio military marching band. I wanted to but when it came down to it, I didn't feel ready or really the major want to do it. :(
I just got back from girls camp on Saturday the 2nd. It was great by the end of the week even though I had a rough start. I went rock propelling! It was amazing, and scary, and rewarding... literally! I got bribed by my leader, Sis.Hickson. Gotta love pop-tarts and Dr.Pepper, they'll allllways back you up. :P So she'll be getting those to me soon. :D (Yumm!)
So I hope you faithful readers to my blog (that check even when I havent posted in forever) Heres another post that I hope to follow by more... I can't get to runover with Facebook (which by the way is an amazing website!)
lol. (Thanks for having faith in my blogs Mama DeGraw! You rock!) :D

Ah Yup Yup!
Later is now! :)
I forgot to speak about my day! Silly me!
This morning I got up at 7:00a.m. and went to school (even though my last day was Friday!)
I went to help my band teacher by sorting out the music from our last concert. I got to the school at 8:00a.m. and I sorted till around 10:00a.m., it's very fun but very owie on the back to constantly be bending over to place music in it's spot. (I lay out the songs by title and sort through ALL the folders!) The the chorus teacher came in and talked to my band teacher for a while, man it's funny listening to teachers talk to each other, they are so funny! So after she left I said goodbye because my band teacher had stuffs to do and I wandered the halls looking for other teachers in need of a hand, but everyone was done for the most part, so I left.
I got home at around 10:50a.m. and started to read. Then my daddy called and asked my mommy to lunch, I didn't want chinese so my mom drove me to Wendy's and back home then she left to go eat with my daddy. Now, one thing you gotta understand about me is I LOVE WENDY'S, I would eat there every meal if I could and I knew I wouldn't get fat! But alas, fast-food is fat-food so I don't eat there TO often, plus it's more expensive then say,.. a sandwich. So I finished that and my pal Kasey called.
Kasey is cool so I wanted her to come over, but I had to do chores and wait till mommy got home. So I changed the bathroom trash can and put away dishes and mopped the floor. Then I asked mommy if Kase could come over and so mommy said yes. (I only call my mom mommy or madre!) And so Kasey came over and we decided to go to the High School.
When we got to the High School we went in and went to the front office. There were about five people in there and so I told this one lady that me and Kasey were going to be freshmen next year and that we were intimidated by the school's size so we wanted to just walk around and check it out. The people in the office looked as if a purple elephant had shoved itself into a peanut can. They were (I think) happy to see us interested in the school so much. They thought it was funny that on the first day of summer we decide to go to school. Odd I know. So they let us wander around the school for a while (by ourselves!) and let me tell you, IT WAS FUN! We went into a couple classes to see how big they were and had ourselves a good time roaming the halls. Then we went back to my house.
Dinner! Kasey stayed for dinner (chicken and salad!) then left afterwards. I took a shower and then my family did Family Home Evening. It's when we all gather together and someone in the family teaches a lesson on church/religion based subjects. Then after that we went walking to Triple Creek Park. I enjoyed the fresh air and exercise, I kept running and when we got home I was still so full of energy that I hopped on the tredmill. I walked for ten minutes and then my ankle hurt so I stopped and got ff to put some ice on it and now the bottoms of my feet hurt from wearing sandals instead of sneakers.
Well that was my day so I hope you had a good one too, goodnight till another post!

Hey hey hey! I'm back and ready for some action! (Ok, so I never left but I didn't blog!)
School's out so yay! I can chillax and read Stephanie Meyers books finally! (I STILL haven't read the twilight series!) I'm currently reading "The Host" a new book of hers so yeah. Her books are ADDICTING!!! You read and you just can't put them down! I was up till 11:00p.m. reading! I'm on page 214 of some 6oo or more...that's good progress for ONE day! :)
I'm hoping to join the Ohio Military Band! It sounds fun (and challenging) which would be good, I think I'm up to it though! And it means I would still be in my band teacher's band in a wierd round about way! He's the conducter person for the Ohio Military band, so even though I'm a freshman (Oh My Grandpa!!! freshman already!?) in a new school with a new band director I'll still have band with my old band teacher! :) Makes sense right? He says the music is harder but that just means I'll have to practice more! (That's a GOOD thing) My dad loves me playing my french horn! I love music so much! I cringe to think of a soundless world. I feel really sad for deaf people, they miss sooo much! I am so blessed to not only be able to hear but to play music and all these wonderful things! I think it would be fun to be a band teacher! I wish I knew how to play more instruments, I can sometimes (only by ear) play a tune on a piano so that's as close as I get to playing anything else. But reading music is the first step to the world of playing so I got that down. :) I think it would be fun to learn how to play a dijerydoo (Can't spell well, sounded it out!)
You know, the Australian thing that sounds all deep and "Owa ho hawoo"?! So cool!... and learning to play a woodwind instrument would be fun but all the keys look intimidating. Oh well, I don't know anyone who could teach me but my teachers (no money for private instructors) and I don't want to take up their time. I already talk to my teachers enough...(I'm a teachers pet and PROUD of it!!!)
ttyl!

Mr.DePolo...
Mr.D is my band class student teacher. He's awesome. He is leaving tomorrow though...I had this great idea a couple weeks ago. I found out that Mr.D's favorite movie is Ghost Busters, and the next day I saw a ghost buster shirt at Target! I had this idea to get band students to donate to a "Mr.D Fund" to raise money to get him the shirt for his going away present. I tried my bus first, I figured it would be easy if just a few people on my bus brought in money...but it didn't work, I was the only person who was willing to give, one dollar. I quickly decided that some action had to take place to raise this money! Two weeks before Mr.D leaves, I decide to go to my band teacher, Mr.Hensler. I tell him what Im trying to do and he announces it to the band classes. Nothing, .50cents was all that came in. So the next week, (with Mr.D leaving Friday!) I decide to confront my teacher again, no money has come in so I ask him to announce it again. He does on Monday. By Wednesday we have already collected $16.97!!!! That's more than enough for the shirt! We reached our goal! But...people kept on giving money the next day too! We made $21.30 total, just in two days!!!!! So I went to Target today and got the shirt, and a card, and a bag of mini reese cups...AND a bag of fun-size reese cups. Reese cups are Mr.D's favorite candy. I put it in a gift bag and tomorrow, Mr.D's last day, he will see how much people care...about him. :)
